Benjamin H. Ballard has practiced law in northern California since 1980. Educated at the University  of California, first at Berkeley and then at Hastings College of the Law, Ben Ballard practiced for 16 years with Thacher, Albrecht and Ratcliff in San Francisco before starting his own practice in 1997.

He has received an AV Peer-Review rating through Martindale-Hubbell* (highest possible). Mr. Ballard divides his practice between civil litigation in state and federal courts and counseling involving a variety of commercial and personal matters. Reported cases include Kwan v. Mercedes-Benz of North America, Inc., 23 Cal. App. 4th 174 (1994); and Levin Metals Corp. v. Parr-Richmond Terminal Corp., 860 F.2d 344 (9th Cir. 1988).
